Description

Additional Equipment

Many extras included in sale including high quality REI folding dock chairs (4), portable electric heaters, Large Igloo Cooler and non-stick pad that fits perfectly on the transom, boat-hook, Net, all required safety gear (and more) including flares, whistles, throwable, floating throw line, lifejackets, etc.  This boat has had a successful Vessel Safety Exam every single year since new and I'm formerly the Flotilla Staff Officer for Vessel Safety Exams in the USCG Aux in SF so safety systems are all above and beyond.

Tender is a 2016 Carindal RIB.  It is a lightweight durable aluminum double hull meaning the floor is flat so your feet are dry.  I believe it is hypalon.  It has a bow storage locker which serves as a convenient boarding step.  Tubes are in ok shape.  Some of the handles need to be replaced including the ones that hold the two aluminum seats in place.  It has a 1998 Mercury 15hp 2-stroke that gets it on plane nicely.  It easily carries 4 safely at lower speeds and will get on plane easily with 2-3ppl and cruise at 20+kts  It has all safety gear- throwable, flare gun, battery operated nav lights, etc.

There is an optional rod-holder on the Port transom that serves as the base for the 2018 Magma grill.  The grill has a cover, a full set of accessories and works extremely well.

Mechanical Equipment

This boat comes completely turn-key with a significant amount of gear.  I'm not sure what all goes in this section but I'll list things out.

Fire systems- the boat has about 2x the min required fire extinguishers required for a boat it's size.  There is a fire extinguisher in each sleeping area- forward v-berth, aft cabin, one in the cockpit area, one in the galley and one in the transom/garage.  There is one in the tender as well.  The engine room has a fire supression system with a control on the starboard side of the cockpit area at the helm.

The boat comes with a backup or stern Danforth style anchor that is properly sized to hold the boat with about 20' of chain and 150' of line.

Vacuflush system- the boat has a 28gallon holding tank.  The Vacuflush system has been bulletproof and hassle free.  We had it fully rebuilt in 2022.  This boat does not have a "head smell".

Crussair AC/Heat- Reverse cycle heat/cooling evenly distributes heat or cool air throughout the entire cabin.  It is intuitive and easy to use.  You can set the temp and have it hold it there and it will heat or cool accordingly.  It has a deumidification cycle that is automatic and runs periodically that we have used since day one when we took delivery of the boat and it is amazing.  The result is that the inteior is in amazing shape, not musty or what you so often find in a boat.  It still has a new boat smell.

Oil change system- immediately upon taking delivery of the boat, an oil change system was plumbed to both the Port, STB mains as well as the generator.  Oil changes are an absolute breeze and hassle free and have been done religiously since new.  Proper break-in was followed on motors including specific timing of first oil changes.  The boat has been running Synthetic fluids

Fuel system- I added fuel/water seperators and replaced all the fuel lines in 2018 when the boat was first exposed to what is now the only available fuel option in SF- ethanol mixed fuel.  While Mercruiser specifically states these engines are designed to run on ethanol, out of precaution I added the fuel/water seperators/pre-filters.  I also became aware of a recall on a fuel system part and upon contacting Mercruiser about it ended up having them replace the entire fuel system- fuel pump, fuel cooler, fuel rails, and injectors for free on both motors.  The fuel system is entirely new.

Hot Water- There is an electric water heater that runs on shore power/generator but is also plumbed through the Port motor heat exchanger so while there is heat in the motor or while underway you have an unlimited supply to hot water.  The tank alone is adequately sized and provides very hot water.

Fresh Water System- I upgraded the water pump to a more efficient, higher pressure unit in 2022

Other gear- at least (6) properly sized black matching Taylor made fenders, excessive quantities of dock lines with full sets of 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" permanent and temp dock lines.  All highest quality available.  30amp power cords, adapters to all types of power supplies.

Spares of any/all critical items ranging from raw water pumps, impellers, filters, plugs, fuel caps, etc.  Custom install of stacked marine sea crates to hold/organize these items in the engine room.

Accommodations

The boat has a very genoursly sized v-berth that is both wide and has the depth to accomodate normal sized people (unlike many of the other boats in this size range).  I am 6'2" and I don't hang off the bed and I also can stand comfortably with ample head height all the way forward in the bow next to the bed without feeling crowded.  The V-berth easily sleeps (2) and has reading lights and generous storage both port and starboard in it's space.  There is a blackout shade and a screen in the hatch that can provide ample natural light, air, or be blacked out.  The AC/Heat controls are located in this cabin for ease of use along with power outlets and a switch controlling it's lights.  There is a nice blackout curtain the closes off this section of the boat from the rest in addition to a bit of space in front of the bed so that it can double as a changing area.  There is a hanging closet with a mirror that serves this space as well.

The aft cabin can be a bench/lounge area with it's own pop-down TV with it's own sound.  It can also be linked to the galley TV or watched quietly with blue-tooth headphones.  Both TV's have DVD players and either can be linked to one another meaning you can watch the same thing from either TV at the same time.  The couch pulls down and converts to a bed that is comfortable for adults or kids and sleeps two.  There are many storage compartments/cabinets in this area including a deep/hidden one that can hold significant amounts of bedding, pillows, towels, etc.  This are also has reading lights, it's own separately switched lighting and a privacy/blackout curtain as well as a side window for natural light.

The third sleeping area is the couch on the STB side across from the galley.  It pulls out and is very comfortable for one adult or two kids.

Overall this boat is extremely comfortable for a family of (4) or two couples and one adult guest or two kid guests.

The head is conveniently located on the port side at the bottom of the stairs down into the cabin.  It has a vacuflush head (which was recently completely serviced), a sink, and shower.  There is a operational window providing light and airflow and it has an exhaust fan that vents to the exterior.  There is ample storage under the sink and in mirrored cabinets above the counter complete with organizer trays.

Galley Equipment

Two burner electric stove that can be concealed with a cover-plate and blend in to the counter.

Generous sized sink with faucet with hot/cold.

Ample storage with (3) locking drawers with included cutlery, dishes, high quality pots/pans that fit well on the boat, cups, etc.  Many items included to be turn-key.  Excellent undercounter storage for larger items like trays, pitchers, things for entertaining.  Storage behind the counter and above the counter along with extra storage above the cabinets for things like bags of chips, etc.

There is an exaust/hood vent for cooking as well as an operable window to the exterior in addition to a fixed skylight that illuminates the area.  Both skylights can be blacked out and all exterior windows are operational, have removable screens, and black-out shades.

Micro/coffee maker is incredibly convenient.  I am 99% sure the mirco doubles as a convection oven.

There is a generously sized locking fridge in the galley.  It has a freezer and a light.  The door to the freezer is compromised and does not close automatically anylonger but otherwise operates just fine.  The fridge is AC/DC so it will run off of the house batteries or shore power just like the cockpit fridge.

There is a TV in the galley that is on a mount that pulls out and can swivel in any direction so you can watch it from the couch immediately across from the galley, the forward v-berth, or anywhere else.  There is storage behind the TV.  It can link to the other TV in the aft room or operate independantly.

Across from the Galley is the dinette with a cherry wood table that is removable.  It is a very comfortable seating area great for watching a show, dining, or it pulls out to create another sleeping area.

Deck and Hull Equipment

The boat has a great windlass that has both foot controls that allow you to operate it easily from the bow or switch controls at the dash at the helm.  It is very high quality and was replaced for free in 2010 under a factory recall with a newer/nicer unit.

The ground tackle was upgraded in 2022 after Superyacht Ramble On Rose carelessly and dangerously ran over our anchor.  We upgraded the anchor to a slighly oversized stainless Lewmar unit that is both pleasant to look at and works incredibly well.  We have a mantus SS swivel, a generous amount of chain, and adequate line properly attached to the hull.  This set-up works incredibly well and is a breeze to operate.  We commonly hold not only our boat but we are generally the boat others tie too when rafting up.

The boat has a custom davit arm system similar to a Hurley style system where there are removable arms that tilt down to launch and retreive the tender.  The arms slide into weaver deck-plates so that once they are removed/stowed in the transom garage/locker, the swim-platform is completely clear.  The arms lock in place under the weight of the tender and release easily with pull-pins.

This boat has the ability to be fueled on either the port or starboard side with fuel fills on each side.  I have never lost a fuel cap because I carry two spares.  Fueling is very convenient and can be monitored by the incredibly accurate smart-craft guages as you are fueling to avoid over-fill.

Everything that penetrates the water was inspected, serviced/and or replaced in 2018 proactively.  Shafts were all perfect spec, shaft seals and cutlass bearings were all replaced.  Props were serviced/tuned and I have all paperwork on their digital scan, etc.  Rudder glands/packing were re-done.  All rudder gear/steering was found to be in excellent condition/tight so nothing further required there.  All through-hulls inspected lubricated.  New transducer installed for new electronics.

Bottom paint is in fair condition.  The hull is cleaned regularly.  I would suggest bottom paint in the next 6 months or so and I elected not to do it at the last haulout (for our survey) just because I would leave the type up to the new owner depending on where it will be kept.

The underwater lights are factory installed and above the water-line facing down so no penetrations below the water line.  They work extremely well.

The hull is in excellent shape.  There are zero flaws in the gelcoat from chafing, docking issues, etc.  It has never had any gelcoat repair.  The only flaws are a couple chips near where a dock-line rubs on the bow and are not very significant.  The boat gets washed by a professional crew every other week and full detail at least once a year since new.

On the bow there is an optional sun-pad with drink holders (a factory option) that is removable.

In the cockpit area there is a sink, ample stainless drink holders, a fridge, and a built-in supplemental cooler.  There is also a champagne/wine cooler that self drains.  All cup-holders were upgraded to drained stainless units.

Rare opportunity to purchase a pristine 2005 Sea Ray 340 Sundancer from her original owner. Vessel has been owned by an experienced multiple boat owner who clearly takes pride in ownership and has been incredibly proactive in maintaining her to the highest standards of the years.

The boat is available with all records and current survey completed in March 2023 available to interested parties that rates the vessel in "overall excellent condition".

More pictures will be posted shortly. I've had some incredibly difficult and very frustrating issues uploading.  I can e-mail anyone pics in a heart-beat
