This MC30 has been converted from a cruising catamaran to a very fast day sailor. Many pieces of equipment, gear and parts were removed to make the boat lighter and faster. For example an ordinary previous speed of six knots is now more like seven knots plus and an ordinary previous speed of seven knots is now eight knots with usually 9 and 10 knots. The boat is now configured for sailing in shallow waters with no centerboard, unnecessary cruising gear and equipment. The centerboard was removed because it was unnecessary for sailing in the shallow waters of Florida. The boat has 2 Yamaha 9.9 four strokes. port and starboard, so it manuevers really well and is very dependable. Both engines have power tilt and electric start.

Due to the much lighter weight the boat will motor about one knot faster and maneuver better than it did previously. The boat is now a lot more fun, easier to sail and also very much easier to keep clean and maintain.

This is the perfect boat for an exciting sail, taking a lot of people on a picnic lunch or going up to your favorite waterfront restaurant. Fast, fun and easy.

Note: Interior cushions, screacher polelfurler, davits, anchors, rodes, are in storage. There is an electric winch to quickly and easily haul up the mainsail which is on a Tides low friction mast track.
