Big-water fishing is only the beginning of the fun possible with the Baja 280 Sport Fisherman. With a huge open deck surrounding an impressive center console, there's plenty of room for friends to play, swim, scuba dive or just venture out for a night of entertainment. A forward V-berth with Porta-Potti makes the 280 Sport Fisherman perfect for overnight trips, too. For days of serious fishing, there's an in-floor fish box, recessed rod storage, and a high freeboard with coaming pads.  Thanks to Baja's deep-V hull technology, it's stable as well in all kinds of water.  Speeds of 42 mph cruise and 55 mph top with the 225 hp mercury 2-strokes.  (max hp rating is twin 250s with a top speed of 62mph). 

-Comfortable at 36kts in 3ft waves; comfortable at 30kts in 4ft waves; Rough at 18-24kts in 5-6 ft waves.

Boat is clean for its age and perfect for a day on the water.  I am selling due to planned move new year which will limit my time on the water until 2024.  Open to reasonable negotiation.

-2022 Venture Tri Axle Trailer with EOB disk brakes $9,000 (available separate after boat is sold).  700-850lbs tongue weight for stability (tested with weigh safe hitch).  10-12,000 lbs total weight on trailer (not tested on scale yet).  1/2 ton towable, but 3/4 ton is easier on steep hills.
