The Tartan 34 Classic is a Sparkman & Stephens designed classic. Manufactured from 1967-78.

By today’s standards these boats are considered to be a moderately heavy keel-centerboard sloop.  Due to the design qualities, they are desired for off shore passages, and are used as a racer. The design features a roomy 8’ cockpit, with wide walkways forward.  Plan. Can sleep up to six in a cabin and offers 6' 2" headroom. The galley is starboard of the companionway, the navigation station to port forward of the quarter berth. The port settee will open to a double, and the starboard settee is a single with good storage below and behind. The sail plan makes this a desirable boat to single hand with winches accessible from the cockpit.

Endeavour has been upgraded over the years for serious off shore travel. With oversized rigging.

The centerboard is constructed of a steel blade enclosed in a faired fiberglass shroud. The centerboard helps with balance on all points of sail, pointing, and gives flexibility in shoal waters. Skeg hung rudder.

Considering this is a cutter rig sloop, the sail combination included with Endeavour are as follows a Newer Main: made in late 2020 by Sail Care, Inc., practically brand new, A Genoa, 130%, refurbished by Sail Care in 2020 with new Sunbrella panel and grommets.

Older sails, some hardly used, some worn: Drifter, shows little signs of use, 100% Genoa, Spinnaker, Staysail jib (she is modified to run as a cutter, have an article on hand describing the modification by previous owner), storm trysail. With this sail inventory, the boat will come with 4 Whisker poles.

Powered with a Westerbeke 30B Diesel, producing 30 Hp. Included with Endeavour is a 2017 Sportboats SB-270A with a Nissan 3.5 outboard.

The interior includes a nice variety of oil lamps to minimize power consumption, even though there are solar panels to keep the house batteries charged.
