1999 Luhrs 40' Convertible

We have owned her for the last 16-years, she has been a great family boat , taking us to the Bahamas numerous times and catching lots of fish and memories. With new grandkids this past year we have not had any time to use her, so we have made the tough decision to sell her.

She has the preferred Cummins 450C Diamond engines that are proven workhorses and the most economical in the 8-9litre class. She is propped right and cruises at 25mph @29gph and tops out at 30mph. Back her down to trolling speed and she sips only 2.5 gallons an hour, so you can troll all day for next to nothing. She has only 830 hours since overhaul in 2006.

She is tournament rigged with double spreader outriggers, custom teak 6-rod gimbal rocket launcher by Nautical Designs with bait rigging station and stainless cup holders. You can fly a kite off each outrigger's pass thru stainless rings..or easily troll 8-lines plus 2-teasers. 

She is by far the NICEST 40 Luhrs Convertible on the market, with her ultra leather salon interior, bamboo wood flooring, Samsung Smart TV with custom pantry, 2-zone air conditioners, and with the emblems removed, her Beautiful lines with that huge Carolina Flared Bow, she is mistaken for a custom boat all the time. 

She is turn-key ready, either for cruising to the Bahamas or the next Fishing Tournament....
