MAJOR PRICE REDUCTION...
We just reduced the asking price by $20,000 on this classic Hatteras 45 Sportfish convertible "Kathy McGillis". New asking price of only $99,000. This is a great value!! Come see her. She was repowered with new Cummins diesels, new hull paint, new deck paint, new interior and new soft goods. Electronics have been updated as well. This 1971 Hatteras 45 has a displacement of 38,000 lbs, and her hull is solid fiberglass as much as 3/4-inch thick in some areas. This is an offshore fishing machine designed to run to the Canyon, Bahamas, or most anywhere her owners may choose. Cruise speed is 20 knots and WOT is 25 knots. The varnished interior is richly finished, and has three staterooms. So she sleeps six. The Hatteras interior was professionally decorated, and Hartge Yacht Yard customized and upgraded the interior. She has one large head with separate stall shower with glass door. There is lots of room for entertaining both inside and out. The custom flybridge installed by Hatteras is the upgraded 1987 design that is larger, and can seat about 6 or 7 family, guests and crew. The hardtop has fixed, tinted glass, windshield wipers, opening hatch and forward window (electrically operated). The large cockpit has a Lee fighting chair with varnished seat & back. Lee outriggers are ready for fishing action. Bait preparation station, and aft cockpit controls are part of the fishing equipment. The hull has been Awlgripped gleaming dark blue. The decks and superstructure has been Awlgripped white. This classic Hatteras 45 convertible is ready cruise and fish.
The Hatteras was repowered with Cummins 6CTAs diesels. These Cummins diesels are widely regarded as one of the best engines ever made, with extreme reliability, efficiency, ease of maintenance (wet sleeve, no need to remove/rip apart boat even for a major tear-down, etc.) and---unlike the newer models with all of the electronics to control smog---these are simple, reliable and proven.
Owners' plans have changed, so please bring offers!
