Fun Country Forerunner for charter

Our 56' x 14' houseboat has been moored at Lake San Antonio (Bradley, CA) near Paso Robles for past 16 years.  Monterey County has decided to no longer allow houseboats on the lake and removed all houseboats from the water to dry storage on April 8th.  The houseboat will now need to be transported to a new location.  Our plan is to either sell from its current location, or reatain and relocate to the Sacramento Delta.  If sold, Buyer will be responsible for transportaion costs to new location.

Interior is in nice condition and everything works (lighting, faucets, electric toilets, hot water heater, water pump, shower, oven, stove, microwave, stereo, electric refrigerator, TV, 2 inverters).  Central A/C and Heat worked last summer, but not yet operated this year.  We have a second A/C unit that can be used for parts or replacement.

Exterior Gelcoat is oxidized from being on the lake for 16 years.  We plan to have it buffed out in next 30-45 days.  Front 1/3 of roof top, especially the front overhang, needs repair/rebuild and will be pretty big job.  Rear sidewall structures between back gates and swim deck will need some repair to strengthen, but are non-bearing structures.

Engines/Outdrives/Kohler Generator:  Both 3.0L engines run strong, but one has not been operated for several years due to required outdrive repair.  Now that boat is out of the water, we will be inspecting bad outdrive.  Might just be an alignment issue. The problem was significant vibration when in operation.  The other outdrive was replaced new in 2009 and probably has less than 60 hours operation.  We only run the houseboat from mooring buoy to dock and beach several times per year.  12 KW Generator runs well and has always been reliable.

Features include: Large front deck with BBQ.  Central sliding glass door to helm, a spacious living room, L-shaped galley, with bar stool seating, dining area with large table and benches that seat 8. Sleeping quarters include 4 queen sized beds; one in the forward stateroom with a hanging closet; two in the lower middle stateroom with a large middle closet; and one in the aft stateroom with a hanging closet. All staterooms have sliding windows. Forward bathroom has toilet and vanity sink. Aft bathroom includes enclosed shower. A sliding glass door opens onto the enclosed rear deck and the swim platform. The 500 square foot rooftop sundeck and upper helm station is accessed via an aluminum stairway from rear deck. Stairway has sturdy left handrail and 8 steps. Top deck has 31" high surround rail and plexiglass enclosure. On the starboard back corner is a super fun swim slide. Twin engines and generator are under the rear deck and accessed via a large lift-up hatch.
